This trail was right behind the little Juneau airport and a small pond where sea planes were kept. I could have sat there for days just to watch the planes land and take off and obviously it also had some stunnah views.
We tried using self timer for a quality pic but when a passerby saw us jumping off a log while smiling at a pile of rocks...we called it quits.
There was a little diner down the road named Donna's and it was a crowd pleaser between Lex and I. Whenever we had a little extra money (which for food we always had a "little extra") we would treat ourselves. The healthiest option on their menu was probably diet coke so it comes as no surprise when my go to was cinnamon sugar waffles with ice cream on top.
