Perseverance Trail // Juneau, Alaska

We took a little jaunt up Perseverance trail on the hunt for Salmon Berries. Hiking becomes so much more fun when you're hunting for food along the way. Diving into bushes and winding your arms into branches and thorns all for one little red plump juicy berry. It was worth it. After the hike, we took the gallon sized bag of berries with us for brunch at the ever so famous diner, Donna's, and used the little splenda packets to sweeten them up a bit more. So yummy.
